Sermons by Colin Macpherson
Colin Macpherson was born in Strath on the Isle of Skye in 1881 and was educated at the local school before graduating from the University of Glasgow with a Master of Arts and entering the Ministry of the Church of Scotland. After ordination he served at the parish of St Munda in Glen Coe until moving to Johnston, Renfrewshire in 1929, where he also served on the local Town Council. He was a Gaelic speaker and often broadcast on the radio.
This collection contains several sermons written in Gaelic, mostly undated although one is dated 16th July 1950.
